SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
The numbers have been drawn and now we wait for word on whether someone matched all of the numbers in Wednesday's record Powerball drawing. The winning numbers: 5, 16, 22, 23, 29, and the Powerball is 6.
At the time of the drawing the estimated jackpot had grown to $579.9 million.
Iowa lottery officials say no ticket sold in Iowa matched all of the numbers, however early details show that 114,195 tickets sold in Iowa won prizes ranging from $4 up to $40,000.
They say seven tickets in Iowa came within one number of having at least a share of the jackpot.
Four tickets purchased in the Hawkeye state matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball to win prizes of $10,000 each. Three more had the Power Play option so they each won a prize of $40,000.
More information on where the winning ticket was sold is expected to be released Thursday morning.
If the Powerball winner chooses the cash option, they'd receive $379.8 million.
