Payer hopes the city, and school district, can enter into a development agreement to share in the cost of pavement replacement.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
On Monday, the council will consider plans that would literally "pave" the way for the new school, Chris Payer, a Sioux City Engineer said.
Payer hopes the city, and school district, can enter into a development agreement to share in the cost of pavement replacement. "In partnering with them we have a chance to improve our infrastructure, at least from 36th up to 38th Street," Payer said.
Work would widen, or replace, pavement and sidewalks in 2013 or 2014.
That's ahead of the school district's suggested 2016 completion date.
