Drew Carey to headline Norfolk comedy festival

NORFOLK, Neb. (US92) -

Comedian Drew Carey will headline the Viaero Great American Comedy Festival next year.

The announcement of Carey's appearance came Friday night at the comedy performance of Sinbad and the 2012 festival winner, Pete Lee in Norfolk.

Eddie Brill, the festival's artistic director, says Carey is excited to be part of a festival that was created to honor the legacy of the late Johnny Carson.

Tom Cotter, who was runner up this year on "America's Got Talent" will also be part of the show which starts June 14th.
