Bo Pelini is 0-3 all time in conference title games.
Indianapolis (KTIV) -
Nebraska Head Coach Bo Pelini struggled to put it into words the Huskers 70-31 loss to Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship game.
Wisconsin claimed its third consecutive Big Ten crown, while the Huskers fell short in a championship game for the third time in four seasons.
The Badgers racked up 640 total yards of offensive, including 539 on the ground - the most ever give up by a Nebraska football team.
The 70 points the Huskers gave up, the second most in school history.
"Shock doesn't even begin to...shock doesn't even begin to explain that," Pelini said following the loss. "I've never been a part of a game like that, as a coach. Like I said, at the end of the day, it falls on me."
"I don't think we over looked them if that's what you're saying. I don't think you can be over confident. I mean, you can overlook a team, but I don't think we did," senior Kyler Reed added. "I mean, I don't think it was over confidence. They made plays, executed and we didn't is what it comes down to."
Nebraska ends the regular season with a 10-3 mark.
