Cherokee voters to decide school funding measure

Voters in the Cherokee Community School District will go to the polls on December 4th to decide on a funding measure for the district.

The question on the ballot involves a revenue purpose statement.

If passed, it would allow the Cherokee, Iowa school district to spend the money it gets from the state for infrastructure purposes.

A polling center will be open at the Cherokee Community Center at 530 West Bluff Street.

Polls open from 7am until 8pm on Tuesday.
