Construction crews to close Tri-View Ave. for bridge removal

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

If you plan on traveling in downtown Sioux City here's something to take note of.

The contractor working for the Iowa Department of Transportation will close Tri-View Avenue after seven on both Monday and Tuesday night so workers can remove what's left of the old Wesley Parkway bridge.

Tri-View Avenue is the road that runs underneath the bridge, and connects the Tyson Events Center to Hamilton Boulevard.

No detours will be designated for the Tri View Avenue traffic, but it should be restored by six each morning.
