NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) -

28-year-old Jordan Beehn requested a preliminary hearing, and it was set for December 20th.

According to court documents, Beehn fired a gun, and that bullet hit 28-year-old Jorge Zepeda-Flores in the jaw.

It then struck his spine damaging several vertebrae.

Witnesses, including the victim's brother, Jose, told police that Beehn's wife, Kelly, got into a fight with a friend outside "Club Hollywood" on November 24th.

Jose Zepeda-Flores says he was trying to break up the fight when Jordan Beehn came over and hit him in the head with a gun.

He says his brother, Jorge stepped in and that's when Beehn fired.

Kelly Beehn told police her husband admitted to her that he shot somebody and didn't know what to do.
