SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
According to a St. Luke's Regional Medical Center spokesperson, it happened around six Wednesday morning.
Diane Wheeler with St. Luke's, says some one broke through the window and stole three digital cameras and other photo equipment.
Police are investigating the incident.
"We put so much love and time into creating this Winter, Santa Wonderland for the children of Siouxland and to know that somebody disrespected it and to steal basically from the children is heartbreaking," Diane Wheeler, the Volunteer Service Manager with St. Luke's said.
Santa's House is located at fourth and Jackson Street in the atrium of the Sioux City Hotel and Conference Center.
Proceeds go to the Children's Miracle Network and the Sergeant Bluff Kiwanis youth programs.
Wheeler says they hope to have all of the equipment that was stolen replaced.
They still plan on re-opening Thursday night at six.
