Crittenton Center cookbooks to benefit programs for kids and families

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Crittenton Center's Stella Sanford Child Development Center hosted an open house to thank donors for their support.

Plus, they are selling a cookbook with more than 100 recipes from board members, staff, and donors.

The cookbooks also feature the children from the Crittenton Center.

All of the food featured at Thursday's open house is from recipes in the cookbook.

The proceeds from the book help the Crittenton Center with programs for the children and families of Stella.

"It is a unique Christmas gift for somebody and it actually fits in your stocking at Christmas. And, felt it was a very timely project for the agency," said Marian Burnett, Crittenton Center Executive Director.

Cookbooks are being sold for $15 and are available at the Crittenton Center.
