Sioux City is now 4-14-4 on the season.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Riley Bourbonnais scored with two seconds left in the first period to give Sioux City a 1-0 lead,
but it wasn't enough as the Sioux Falls Stampede handed the Muskies their 14th loss of the season 3-1 Sunday night.
Two and a half minutes into the second period, Cody Milan tied the game at one, sneaking a goal past Joe Ballmer.
With less than five minutes to play in the period, Preston Hodge found the back of the net off a rebound to put the Stampede on top 2-1.
Sioux City tried to even things up with an extra attacker late in the third, but Sioux Fall's CJ Franklin added an empty net goal to secure the Stampede win.
The Musketeers are back at home Friday, Dec. 14, to battle Cedar Rapids.
