Two hospitalized after house fire

A house fire just outside Norfolk, Nebraska sent two people to the hospital Sunday.

Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says just after noon, crews were called to 311 Kimberly Way, in Woodland Park, where they worked for more than an hour to fight a blaze that severely damaged the home.

Unger says the residents of the home, Leonard and Phyllis Lurz were taken to Faith Regional Health Services for treatment of smoke inhalation.

The American Red Cross is helping the family.  So far, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
