Two injured in Crawford County, Iowa crash

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Two people are taken to the hospital after a crash in Crawford County, Iowa. It happened Sunday night around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 59 and County Road E-16. The Iowa State Patrol says a pickup driven by 17-year-old Adrian Ramirez of Kiron pulled out in front of a semi driven by 65-year-old Gary Beckman of Lake View. The pick up struck the back of the semi and slid into the ditch.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, but were taken to the Crawford County Hospital with unknown injuries.
