A Norfolk man is facing theft charges after police say he stole a Salvation Army kettle

Police Captain Mike Bauer says 20-year-old Michael Randles was arrested Sunday.

Police were called to the Dairy Queen on South 13th Street right around 3 p.m.

Employees said a man entered their building, sat for a little while, and then grabbed the Salvation Army kettle and ran out.

Police arrested Randles after he was positively identified by witnesses.

They say he faces theft charges and is currently out on bond.
