SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Two students at North Middle School are turning 12 Wednesday and, as the calendar will tell you, today is 12-12-12.

12-year-old Madison Siemieniewski is a girl of few words.

She told us today is "pretty special."

Taylor Johnson agrees, it is a great day too.

"I think it's going to be very special because I've never had one of these until today," Taylor Johnson, a 6th grader at North Middle School said.

It's not just the sixth graders celebrating Wednesday, eighth grade teacher Betty Wendt, is also having a birthday.

Betty and her sister share a birthday but were born a year apart.
