Newborns get a unique birthday date

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Wednesday's date of 12-12-12 is very unique. And so are the little bundles of joy born at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center Wednesday.

The Burton family planned their little girl's birth to have that special date. Anna Jean made her appearance in the morning at 10:54. She weighed 7lbs, 15.5 ounces and is 19.5 inches long.

But Anna isn't the only one in the family with a unique birthday. Mother Michelle was born 8-8-78.  Oldest daughter Kayla was born on 3-7-07 and son Kenneth was born on 9-9-09.

"Well, I figured the rest of us have memorable birthdays, except my husband, so I might as well do one for her also," said Michelle Burton, Sioux City mother.

All three kids came by C-Section, two of them, emergencies. St. Luke's has had three births so far Wednesday.

Mom and baby are doing well.
