Riley Bourbonnais celebrates a goal in Sioux City's 2-1 win over Omaha on Saturday.

The Sioux City Musketeers won for just the fifth time in 24 games, edging the Omaha Lancers 2-1 on Saturday night in front of over 3,300 fans at the Tyson Events Center.
After a scoreless first period, the Musketeers scored twice in the second period. Riley Bourbonnais scored three minutes into the period to make it 1-0. Eetu Karvinen made it 2-0 with a goal at the 14:16 mark. Omaha's Gage Hough cut the lead in half but there was no scoring in the third period.
Sioux City goaltender Joe Ballmer stopped 16 of 17 shots to earn the victory in net. Sioux City took 27 shots, 15 coming in the second period. Omaha falls to 14-12 with the loss.
Sioux City (5-15-4) will travel to Omaha on Friday and to Waterloo on Saturday.
