Convicted sex offender wanted in new assaults may be in Siouxland

NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -

Fairbury Nebraska police, which is located in southeast Nebraska, are looking for 30-year-old Billy Barritt.

He faces two counts of sexual assault of a child in that community.

Police say he fled Fairbury after learning about the investigation and is believed to be traveling between there and Norfolk.

Barritt is a convicted sex offender in Madison County.

He's 5 feet seven inches, 180 pounds with brown hair and glasses.

He was last seen driving a black Chevy K-15 hundred pickup with the license plate number of 332172.

Anyone with information is asked to contact local authorities or the Fairbury police at the 402-729-3355.
