Bomgaars is ready for snow with rows of shovels and bags of ice melt.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
With a winter storm on its way, people started stocking up on the essentials at local stores, Tuesday night.
Managers at Bomgaars say they've seen a boost in business in the last 24 hours. They are ready to go with rows of shovels, and bags of ice melt.
They also have snow blowers for folks who want some more power to move the snow. For those who want to wait until the snow falls, Bomgaars has plenty of everything in stock.
"A lot of people do kind of wait and see how much snow we get. A lot of times, the first snow will break their snow shovel and they will have to get a new one, or maybe the snow blower doesn't start, they haven't started it since last year," said Joe Boyle, Bomgaars Store Manager.
At Hy-Vee, shoppers filled their carts with the basics before the snow starts to fall. Managers there say shelves are stocked in time for the snow.
