Drivers prepare for winter driving in Norfolk, Nebraska.
NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -
That means motorists are taking the time Wednesday to brush up on their winter driving tips and preparing to travel in winter road conditions again.
State Patrol Captain Paul Hattan Wednesday afternoon has a few tips for drivers.
"First and foremost, always wear your seat belt. You definitely want to try to slow down. Adjust your speed to what conditions are out there, especially ice. You just need to slow down. Another thing certainly is put your headlights on in inclement weather. Let people know where you are, so they can see you," Captain, Paul Hattan, with the Nebraska State Patrol said.
