Santa stops by Leeds Elementary to say hello to students Wednesday afternoon.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

He stopped by Leeds Elementary to say hello to students Wednesday afternoon.

It's estimated Santa has two-billion children to visit on Christmas night.

As he travels east to west his Christmas day lasts 31 hours.

Santa's total trip to each home is 75 and a half million miles.

It's a lot of work, and kids really appreciate it.

It's a good thing Santa is a strong fellow.

If you assume each gift he carries weighs only two pounds, on Christmas eve his sleigh weighs about 321,000 tons.
