New exhibit showcases life-like drawing

Sioux City Art Center unveils exhibit with life like drawings.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Is it a photograph or is it a drawing? A new exhibit showcases drawings so real, they look like photos.

You can find them at the new "Values of Drawing" exhibit at the Sioux City Art Center.

The exhibit features artists from around the Midwest, including Iowa.

The art center's director, Al Harris-Fernandez says, almost all artists draw in some form, but they don't often feature drawings as the finished product.

"These artists are actually looking at the drawings as a finished product so they do very obsessive, very intense finished artwork," Al Harris-Fernandez said.

The exhibit will remain on display through April 14.
