Hartington plays host to Santa and KTIV elves

HARTINGTON, Neb. (KTIV) -

The KTIV crew was on the road in Northeast Nebraska where we were helping get into the holiday spirit.

Kristie VerMulm and Kristen Johnson paid a visit to the Golden Living Center in Hartington, Nebraska for a special KTIV Tree of Love party.

Christmas carols filled the air as fourth, fifth and sixth grade students from Holy Trinity grade school sang for the crowd.

Santa was there too

He joined in handing out candy canes as the rest of the presents were handed out to the residents.

Afterwards, the crowd was treated to Christmas cookies.

A big thanks to the folks from the Bank of Hartington for helping make this Tree of Love party possible.
