NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -

It's been about ten months since we saw measurable snow in the Norfolk area and area drivers are certainly getting a refresher course on winter weather and winter driving.

About four inches of snow fell in Norfolk overnight.

Three inches of snow has been reported in Pierce.

Tilden reported about six inches overnight.

Most of the area has fallen in that three to six inch range.

City officials say crews were out clearing the highways and the main roads.

They've been fighting wind gusts Thursday as there have been problems with drifting and reduced visibilities in the rural areas.

As far as accidents, it was a pretty quiet night for law enforcement officials.

There was on accident in Norfolk Thursday morning involving three vehicles.

Rescue crews were on the scene for about an hour there.

No word on how many injuries there were.

It may have been a while since we've seen snow but it looks like the old routines when it comes to winter weather are pretty easy to fall back into.
