Wayne, NE teachers give students a memorable sendoff

WAYNE, Neb (KTIV) -

The faculty at Wayne, Nebraska's elementary school wanted to leave for winter break on a happy note.  So, they put on their dancing shoes.

The teachers surprised their students during the holiday assembly yesterday and broke into a flash mob.

First grade teacher Jennifer Thomas says she and fellow faculty members practiced every morning to the song of the year, Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe."

They were excited to give their students something to cheer about as they sent them off on their winter break.
