Rock Valley Fire Department officials were called to 2730 340th Street for a hog confinement on fire around 10 p.m. on Saturday.
When fire crews arrived, they found the confinement fully engulfed.
Crews put the fire out and found 650 30-pound hogs dead due to the fire.
The Sioux County Sheriff says the total damages are estimated at $150,000.
They say no injuries were reported.
The Rock Valley Fire Department was assisted by the Rock Valley Ambulance, Hull Fire Department, Sioux Center Fire Department and the Sioux County Sheriff's Office during the fire.
Officials are still trying to determine the cause.
