Sioux City pet owners required to renew pet licenses before January

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

All Sioux City pet licenses expire on December 31st.

You can pick up a new license at City Hall, the Sioux City Animal Adoption and Rescue Center and participating veterinarian offices.

The cost of a license is $10 for neutered pets or $30 for those that aren't neutered.

The city limits each household to three animals with no more than two from the same species, you have to apply for a pet permit if you have more.

All pets must be vaccinated for rabies before a permit is issued.
