Iowa Sen. Harkin says no deal is better than a bad deal

WASHINGTON (CNN) -

"No deal is better than a bad deal. No deal is better than a deal that doesn't confront the fact that the middle class is sinking in America. Now we passed a bill earlier this year to extend tax cuts for everyone up to 250 thousand dollar. It's sitting in front of the house. Now they could have passed that a week ago or a month ago. They can still pas it to keep taxes from going up on the broad middle class but they refuse to do so. Again, they're manufacturing this crisis, " Senator Tom Harkin (D) said.
