South Dakota lawmakers take on iPad pilot project

When they get to work in Pierre next month, South Dakota legislators will start a high tech 2-year pilot project.  30 of the returning lawmakers will be using i-Pads for legislative work.

The Executive Director of the state Legislative Research Council says that the council is studying whether to give the Apple products to all 105 legislators.  The pilot project was launched after some lawmakers requested it.  It will get under way with the January 8th start of this year's legislative session.
