21-year-old Jesus Miranda is in jail on felony drug and auto theft charges.
NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -
Norfolk Police say they were called Saturday morning by a Norfolk couple who reported a stolen pickup and said they believed their son was responsible for the theft.
Officers spotted the pickup at a home in the 500 block of south first street where 21-year-old Jesus Miranda was found hiding in a closet.
While officers were removing him from the closet, a zip lock bag containing a white substance fell out of Miranda's pocket.
The substance tested positive for methamphetamine.
Miranda was arrested for felony auto theft and felony possession of a controlled substance and has been transferred to the Madison County Jail.
