The MOC-Floyd Valley Marching Band, otherwise known as the Pride of the Dutchmen, entertained the crowd at Tuesday's Rose Parade.

The school was invited to play in the parade after a 20-year absence.

The students practiced for months to prepare for Pasadena.

Besides their great music, their footwear also got a lot of attention from host Al Roker.

Al Roker says, "The Dutch tradition has been carried on. They are wearing the authentic uniform. Not only that, look at the shoes! They are marching in wooden shoes. for five and a half miles! Most people worry about getting stains on their shoes, they've got to worry about termites."

Al even managed to grab a pair of Rose Bowl stamped wooden shoes for his collection!
