Cedar Falls snow ordinance in effect Thursday night until Friday morning

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

On-street parking in the Parkade and College Hill areas of Cedar Falls will not be allowed from 8:00 p.m. Thursday until 7:00 a.m. Friday so crews can remove snow piles.

The City of Cedar Falls says a snow emergency will be enacted, which means no on-street parking will be allowed.

The city says public parking lots are not affected by the snow emergency, so the public is encouraged to use them as a parking alternative.
