SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Five Guys was located in the Lakeport Commons area.

It first opened in 2009.

Company spokesperson Molly Catalono said the closure was a decision by the franchise owner.

She was told by the owner were several reasons for closing the doors, including the location not being the right fit.

However, Catalono says the owner would like to re-open in a new location, saying customers have been loyal to the franchise.

There's no word on where it could be re-located.
