Four Musketeers named to USHL Top Prospects game

Four Sioux City Musketeers have been named to the USHL/NHL Top Prospects game. Four Sioux City Musketeers have been named to the USHL/NHL Top Prospects game.

The United States Hockey League announced the 40 players selected to compete in the 2013 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game presented by CCM to be held on January 23rd at the L.C. Walker arena in Muskegon, Michigan. 

Musketeer Forwards Jake Guentzel, Conor McGlynn, and Jake Montgomery were among the listed players. Defenseman Blake Heinrich also made the roster. 
Jake Guentzel has 24 points (8G, 16A) this season. Jake Montgomery has 6 goals and 7 assists to his credit this season. Both players have committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha. McGlynn has committed to attend Boston College. Blake Heinrich, a Cambridge, Minnesota, native, has committed to attend the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
"The second USHL/NHL Top Prospects game promises to be an outstanding showcase of talent that USHL teams continue to develop for the next levels of hockey, commented USHL President and Commissioner Skip Prince. "With so many of our young stars on the NHL watch list, and with the full attention of the National Hockey League, it promises to be a great night of hockey in Muskegon, and something all USHL fans should be anxious to see." 
The 40 players chosen will now be divided into two teams for the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. The makeup of both teams will be announced at a later date.
