John Nikas and the Austin Healey car nicknamed Grace are traveling all 50 states in one year as part of the Mission Drive Away Cancer.
They're getting cancer survivors, families of cancer victims, and those currently fighting cancer to sign "Grace."
Unfortunately, Grace broke down in October is currently at Healey Werks in Lawton, Iowa getting fixed.
But Friday some local cancer fighters got the chance to meet John and Grace and find out why John says the mission is about more than just him.
"Because, we always say there might be one person behind the wheel but there are thousands in the car," John Nikas, Grace's driver said.
Together John and Grace have logged 190,000 miles in 2012.
And once Grace is repaired they will continue on to Alaska and Hawaii to fulfill their U.S. route.
If you want to meet John and Grace yourself, there will be an open house on January 12th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Healey Werks at 1821 Highway 20.
