Cedar Rapids bank robbed Friday afternoon

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids police are on the hunt for a suspect they say robbed a bank with a handgun Friday afternoon.

Police say a male suspect entered Banker's Trust, 221 3rd Ave. SE in Cedar Rapids around 4:15 p.m. Friday.

The suspect was wearing a face mask, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Cedar Rapids Police Department had no other details.
