Two Hospers businesses burglarized

On Wednesday, January 2, the Sioux County Sheriff's Office investigated two business burglaries that occurred in Hospers, IA.

At 3:04 a.m., deputies responded to a burglar alarm at the Conoco Service Station, 209 Hospers Drive South. Upon further investigation, deputies discovered someone broke a window and entered the business.

At 8:42 a.m., deputies responded to a second burglary that occurred at Kelly's Drive Inn and Pizza, 100 Sunrise Drive. Upon further investigation, it was also discovered that someone broke a window and entered the business.

In both burglaries, the perpetrator(s) took cash.
