DAKOTA CITY, Neb. (KTIV) -
A Homer Nebraska woman has died following a three-car accident on Highway 77 in Dakota City, Nebraska. Authorities say 27-year-old Heather Reisdorph of Sioux City rear-ended a vehicle that was turning off of the highway. That vehicle, driven by 57-year-old Patricia Oldenburg of Homer slid into the opposite lane and was hit again by a third vehicle... driven by 20 year old Allina White of Winnebago. Oldenburg's vehicle went into the ditch. She was taken to a local hospital where she died.
A 3-year-old and an 8-year old were belted into the back seat of Oldenburg's vehicle. Both children were taken to the hospital... one of them was flown to Omaha. There's no word on their condition.
Authorities have not said what led to the accident or if any charges will be filed.
