SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Northwestern's Ben Miller has been named the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week. 

The senior guard nearly averaged a double-double this past week, with 25 points and 8 and a half rebounds in guiding the Red Raiders to two conference wins, including a 96-69 victory over 8th ranked Doane.

On the women's side, Dordt's Kara Van Dyke has also earned Player of the Week honors.

The junior forward averaged 19 points and seven boards, and scored 27 points in the Defenders upset win over No. 1 ranked Concordia on Saturday.
