Former Iowa gubernatorial candidate in hot air balloon crash

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KWWL) -

A man who ran for Iowa governor in 2010 was in a hot air balloon crash on his wedding day.  No one was seriously injured.

There were 14 people onboard the balloon to celebrate the union of Kerin and Jonathan Narcisse.
The wind gust caught the balloon just after they exchanged their vows.

One person suffered a minor back injury, and afterward the couple continued to a reception.

Narcisse was a 3rd party candidate in the 2010 race.  Republican Terry Branstad ended up winning his fifth term as governor over incumbent Chet Culver.
