Sioux City Musketeers Head Coach and General Manager Brett Larson has traded J.T. Stenglein and Tanner Pond.

Sioux City Musketeers Head Coach and General Manager Brett Larson announced two important acquisitions on Tuesday afternoon.
Forward J.T. Stenglein was dealt to the Waterloo Blackhawks in exchange for Forward Kyle Schmidt and a first and second round pick in the 2013 USHL Entry Draft. Stenglein has scored a total of 12 goals and recorded 26 points in the current season. He has committed to Michigan State University. Kyle Schmidt has 18 points (6G, 12A) to his credit during his time with the Waterloo.
Tanner Pond, a Northeastern University commit, has recorded 16 points (9G, 7A) this season. Pond was traded to the Green Bay Gamblers in exchange for Trevor Olson. Olson scored 7 goals and recorded 16 points in the season thus far with the Gamblers.
