Walmart Foundation gives $150,000 to NEIA Food Bank

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The Northeast Iowa Food Bank received a $150,000 contribution from the Walmart Foundation for hunger relief and wellness programs Wednesday.

The grant will be used to buy a new freezer for the new Northeast Iowa Food Bank facility in Waterloo.

The Walmart Foundation also provided a $25,000 grant to Lutheran Services for its statewide necessity pantry.
