Facebook post leads to Waterloo woman's arrest

Waterloo police say a post to the Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers Facebook page led to the arrest of a Waterloo woman.

Captain Tim Pillack says 19-year-old Toni Jquanda Phillips was arrested on New Year's Eve after they received a tip on the Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers Facebook page.

Pillack says Phillips was identified after surveillance photos were posted on the Facebook page.

Phillips is charged with forgery and credit card fraud.
