Friday Morning Headlines:
Three casino developers pitched four plans to the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
Each developer got 45 minutes to detail their plans for a new Woodbury County casino.
Ho-Chunk went first, then Sioux City Entertainment, followed by Penn National Gaming.
The IRGC says it wants to see great amenities and a powerful economic impact.
It will make its decision April 18th.
Before they heard the proposals, the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission officially approved a lease extension between Sioux City and the owner of the Argosy, The Belle, a subsidiary of Penn National Gaming.
The lease allows the riverboat casino to dock on city property.
In return, the city collects three-percent of the facility's gaming revenue.
The 12-month extension keeps the rent the same, and releases both parties from legal liability for past conduct.
Pending approval by the city council on January 28th, the lease extension would start the 29th.
