Federal money will help rehab Norfolk, NE homes

Some recently-awarded government funding will help to renovate and rehabilitate housing in Norfolk, Nebraska's, downtown area.

Nearly $502,000 has been given by Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

The money will be used to rehabilitate, convert and reconstruct two single-family and five multi-family units at several downtown Norfolk locations.

Some of the work to be done includes roofing, brick repair, insulation, heating and air work and interior work like plumbing, electrical, windows, flooring and cabinetry.
