SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KTIV) -

The Sioux Falls, South Dakota developer who purchased the former Terra Centre last year has died.

Donald Dunham Junior died unexpectedly from complications during surgery.  He was 70-years old and formerly of Elk Point.

Besides the Terra, now Ho-Chunk Centre, the Dunham Company broke ground on a new apartment complex in North Sioux City last year.

In partnering on the Ho-Chunk Center, Dunham said he wanted to return it to its former glory.

Ho-Chunk CEO Lance Morgan said," Don was a true entrepreneur and those types of people are rare.  He's somebody that we enjoyed partnering with.  He was somebody that made a mark on this world and he will be missed."
