Investigation continues into Spirit Lake mobile home fire

SPIRIT LAKE, Iowa (KTIV/KUOO) -

Investigators say they are still looking into the cause of a fire that heavily damaged a trailer home in the Iowa Great Lakes region. It broke out Sunday evening at a mobile home in Center Lake Village in Spirit Lake.

Nobody was home when the blaze broke out and there were no injuries, but Spirit Lake Fire Chief David Kollasch says the home is pretty much a total loss.

The Fire Marshal was expected to be at the scene Monday to help try to determine the cause.
