Siouxland woman pleads not guilty to animal neglect

STORM LAKE, Iowa (KTIV) -

A trial date has been set for Dawn Williams, of Storm Lake Iowa after she pleds not guilty to 15 counts of Animal Neglect. Police were initially called to this home at 615 Geneseo Street for a possible burglary. When inside, police say they found the skeletal remains of 15 cats and a large amount of animal feces.

Authorities say the 42 year-old left the property for six months, locking the animals inside. Williams' trial is set for April.
