A whale enjoys its journey and frolics with dolphins

Whale-watchers capture a gray whale frolicking with dolphins.

A gray whale on its annual migration from Alaska to Baja, California took a little time to enjoy the journey.

While off the coast of Dana Point, California, a huge whale was feeling unusually playful and frolicked with some dolphins in a deep-sea dance spectacle. A whale-watcher captured video during an excursion. The whale was seen rolling around, turning on its back, while seemingly playing with the pacific white-sided dolphins.

This is very uncommon behavior for gray whales, but what a delight for the passengers on the whale-watching trip.
