ArtSplash to be held at Riverside Park in Summer 2013.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
There's a new home for Sioux City Art Center's ArtSplash.
For the past couple summers, the festival has been held at Grandview Park.
Now, it's moving to Riverside Park, which the Art Center says will allow for more parking, future expansion and shade.
As more artists are added, the Art Center hopes to bring in an even bigger crowd.
"It puts us into another level of art festival because we're stepping up from that 80 threshold, up over 100 and so it kind of builds on some momentum and makes us a little more visible," said Erin Webber-Dreeszen, ArtSplash Development Coordinator.
The festival will add about 40 more artists, which takes place during Labor Day Weekend.
