The Iowa State Cyclones blew an 18 point second half lead and escaped with a 69-67 victory over West Virginia on a last second shot by freshman Georges Niang. The win is Iowa State's 17th straight at Hilton Coliseum.
Melvin Ejim led the Cyclones with 16 points and 13 rebounds before fouling out. Iowa State is now 2-1 in the Big 12, 12-4 overall.
